Cloudy day with a silver lining....

If you read my post yesterday, you know I had a pretty cloudy day. Things weren't going smoothly with the wedding planning and I was pretty bummed out.

BUT....the day ended with a beautiful, shiny, sparkly silver lining:

My wedding band is finally finished! After a total of 6 weeks without my engagement ring (two 3 week stints), we found a jeweler that could replicate the eternity band from my engagement ring. Who would have thought it would be so difficult?! The jeweler even had to start over after the first attempt because it still wasn't perfect when I went to pick it up 2 weeks ago.

The wait was worth it though - I absolutely love it. I wanted so badly to wear it home...but I executed some major self-control and put it right back in the box and took it home.

Of course, I had to model it for Mike when he got home....

Next on the wedding planning agenda...dress alteration on Friday!
