11 Months!

Happy 11 months my sweet Luke!  I say it every month, but I REALLY can't believe you are going to be one year old in just a few short weeks.  It makes me sad and happy all at once.

Last year at this time I was in full-on cleaning/nesting mode at home.  I was really big and getting uncomfortable.  Lots of Braxton Hicks and you were kicking all over the place.  Just LOOK at this picture taken last year on April 5 (I can't believe I'm posting this willingly, but it's worth remembering!).

Holy moses I was big.  And I still had a month to go!

It's so fun to watch you grow and change all the time.  I swear just over the last month you've really changed from a baby into a toddler.  We're working on all of the big-boy things - pointing out your eyes, ears, nose and mouth - saying words (and meaning them) - a little bit of discipline sprinkled here and there (I don't want to turn you into a mama's boy but every time we get stern with you I just want to hug you!).

You jabber and talk all the time - and we love it.  We could listen to you tell us things ALL day.  I know your Dad especially loves it.  You have your own conversations and your facial expressions are awesome.  You point and look at things like it's all very important!

I love you Luke.  Every day just keeps getting better and better.  I know this month will fly by and then we'll get to celebrate a whole year of you.  You make Daddy and I so happy and we couldn't imagine life without you!
