Welcome Home!

Mom and Dad took their annual trip to someplace fun and just got back last night! This year it was Key West...oh what I wouldn't give to have a few days of sun and warmer weather!

Mom said in one of her earlier posts that she loves coming home after she's been away:

"I do believe there is nothing half as pleasant as coming home again."

Mom and I are alike in many ways and this is just one of them. Mike and I went skiing this weekend and when we came home and pulled on to our street I looked at Mike and said "I'm so glad we're home". He looked back at me and said "You always say that, honey".

So welcome back Mom & Dad...I'm glad you're home, too!

And now...one more reason I love Mike: He text messages my family. He'll send them funny stuff or ask questions about when we're coming home next... And the best part is that Mom or Amber will email me the next day and say "Mike is sooo funny! His text was hilarious!" and didn't even know that he had written anything! I love that he as comfortable with my family as I am with his.
