Happy Anniversary! We made it...don't they say the first year of marriage is the hardest? And also that having a baby will put even the strongest marriage to the test? We just did both, back to back, and I'd say we came out with flying colors. I would also say that both of those statements are absolutely true....we've had our good times and really, really good times...and we've had some rough times, too.
But this I know: there is no one on this Earth that I would rather trudge through the day-to-day with. No one that could make me laugh like you make me laugh. No one that I could love like I love you. And no one that could be a better Daddy to our boy than you.
I don't love you like I loved you two years ago. I love you differently, and more deeply, than I ever thought possible. And I'm pretty sure that in 10, 20, 30, 40 or (if we're lucky, 50) years from today, we will love each other differently and more deeply than today, too.
You are my one true love. Don't ever forget.
