Baby Seuss Goes to the Park

Last Saturday I needed to do some running around before our upcoming vacation to Florida (I can't believe I haven't mentioned it before now, but HOLY EXCITED!).  Anyway, I hit an early Bar Method class first and then made my way through a few stores before shopping got the best of me.  (Side note: I really wish I could like shopping more.  I'm finally starting to THINK I might like it before I go, but it never fails that after about an hour, I convince myself I already have everything I need and I get the heck out of there).

While I was out, Bubby and Daddy went to the park.  They went before morning nap so between waking up at 7, having a bottle, playing and eating breakfast, there wasn't a whole lot of time for planning before it was time to hit the sack again at 9:30.

I think most Dad's do it the best when they're on their own.  The following is the result of Mike's spontaneous trip to the park and the fact that no time could be wasted by getting dressed!

I mean, Luke would look adorable to me in ANYTHING, but he had his Cat in the Hat jammies on (thanks Aunt Katie), his water shoes on (so he could practice walking in them before Florida) and a baseball cap on backwards.  Mr. Man was eclectic if nothing else!

Despite his outfit he had an awesome time at the park with his Dad.  Mike even said some lady commented, "Oh, I LOVE his outfit!".  He thought to himself, "yeah, yeah, lady, it's a Dad outfit".

I think they both had a fun time - and I have a feeling this is just the first of many spontaneous trips to the park.
