17 Weeks and a Visit from Grandpapski

Hard to believe we're already rounding 17 weeks and on our way to 18.  Here's our weekly picture - quite a jump from last week and most definitely from Luke's growth at the same time:

We've had a busy week - Luke was sick again with a yucky virus.  Settled in his tonsils again, poor guy, and he just had to tough it out until it passed.  He was almost back to normal by Friday, although he's been a bit grumpy all weekend.  It very well could be his normal "terrible two's" but maybe he's just still tired and catching up from the long, sick week.

Grandpapski Esaak came to visit on Thursday night to spend the weekend. We fit quite a lot into the last few days and I think everyone had a good time.  Bubby loved calling after "Paki" and didn't have his normal shy reaction to him.  We're hoping he's over that stage now!

Yesterday we went to the zoo and I got a few good pictures.  The zoo pass in the best thing we've done yet as a family - we've been so many times already this summer and Luke loves it every time.

Asleep on the way there already....this was at 9:30 am.  It was a sign of what was to come - Grumpy Gus unless we were doing EXACTLY what he wanted to do!

Can't leave the zoo without a carousel ride.

Another busy week ahead for us - Grandpapski leaves early tomorrow morning and Mama travels for 2 days to Des Moines for work on Tuesday.  Thankfully, Dad is home this week though.   I'm already looking forward to next weekend and Father's Day - hopefully the weather is nice (this weekend was absolutely gorgeous) and we can spend it playing outside.
