Baby is moving like a crazy animal though and I am feeling kicks in both directions at the same time now. Like he/she is stretching out and kicking with feet and arms simultaneously. Cute now; won't be so cute when there's less room in there. Also woke up in the night for the first time due to some well placed kicks to my bladder....it's only the beginning of this kid waking me in the night!
Bubby is getting a little better each day at school. Pretty consistently now, he doesn't want to LEAVE when I go to pick him up, which I suppose is a good thing. He loves playing on the jungle gym outside and pretty much just runs away from me at every turn. I resorted to bribing yesterday with fruit snacks and chocolate milk.
Going to school is still a bit rough, but better. Some crying at home, some crying at school but it's not so frantic and heartbreaking. And today, for the first time since we started the new classroom, there were no tears! We got to school just as Olivia was coming so they ran in the building together and sat down to eat breakfast next to each other. Luke got a little sad when I said I had to go, then all of the sudden looked over at me and said "go". He gave me a kiss and I was off. So proud of our boy.
A few pictures from the last week:
This is Bubby's new spot to watch a show....he is such a little monkey. He literally can't stand to not climb or teeter on anything stationary.
The alternative to climbing on anything that will stand still, is climbing IN anything that looks like it will hold him. He was quite content here for an entire episode of Daniel's Neighborhood. I think Dad looked pretty comfy too.
I found this as I was loading the dishwasher the other night. I couldn't stop smiling.
And here's our little trashy baby who was almost ready to take a bath when he decided he HAD to go outside and help Dad with the "gabage". He's filthy from dinner time, only has on a diaper and had to ride his little bike down to the end of the driveway... (by the way, the can he's hanging on or "helping" is just a yard waste can so it had leaves and weeds in it. Just didn't want anyone thinking we let him hang on a disgusting garbage can!).
And finally, I wanted to throw out this stupid Christmas tin because I decided we need to start purging to make room for Baby. Dad had another idea.....
that video made.my.day. love how he mounted it at the end! LOL
