The reason...

I started this blog because mom said "you should do a wedding blog".... I said maybe, but in my mind I thought no way. I don't think I can come close to writing as witty as Amber or as poignant as mom and I didn't want anyone to read about my obsession with planning our wedding. So when I created this, I started only because I wanted to figure out how they actually did it - I was more interested in how they made their backgrounds and linked to different cool features on their blogs. After hours upon hours of searching how to get backgrounds like theirs with no success, I almost gave up. But while I was searching for these very stubborn backgrounds, I was also watching The Notebook. Just seeing the beginning of that movie makes my heart race. I thought about how sappy I am and how much I love romantic movies (the Notebook, When a Man Loves a Woman, Love Actually) and how I could cry at the drop of a hat for just about anything (commercials, one specific verse of Taylor Swift's "Love Story" or when Mike says things like "I just love our life").

And then I realized that I really WANTED to blog about our wedding because I am a crazy, hopeless romantic.

So enjoy our "Love Story".... I know it's just the beginning!
