Last Friday Luke went on a field trip to the Museum of Science and Industry. Bubby took a good morning nap and then he and Adelia were off. Adelia's sister is a nanny, too, so they met up together to take the kiddos to the museum. Adelia said Luke was wonderful, and that just makes me smile.
When Adelia sent these pictures to me today, I couldn't believe it. Gramma, Grampa and Auntie Amber...I hope you smile and laugh as much as I did when I saw them! You think our Luke is going to be all city boy, but he's already being exposed to good 'ol Midwestern agriculture!

| Yes, that's what you're mama felt like for the first 5 months.... |
Luke also got to have some fun in a play-kitchen at the museum. He loves those kitchens (his friend Olivia has one). I think Daddy might think it's a little too "girly" to have a play kitchen, but I might have to talk him into getting one when we have a bigger place. He really loves going in and out and playing with all of the little appliances. Callan's daddy usually has something tasty cooking towards the end of the day and he sometimes watches me cook (so what if it's a frozen pizza - don't judge) when he's having his dinner at night...maybe he's learning....
Here's little man cooking up a storm.

| "What? I can be in here." |
And I just love this picture - his career options are wide open...chef, farmer, astronaut....
After the museum, Adelia put Luke in the car and she said he was out like a light before she even started the car. Poor kid thought he'd miss something so he wouldn't shut his eyes for a second in his stroller. He fell asleep at 2:30 and he slept for 2 hours...all of the fun must have worn him out.
I hear Shedd Aquarium is on the schedule for this week!
